I have used a memory foam mattress for years I had to give mine up a year ago when I moved and after sleeping on a regular mattress my body was killing me I could barely walk when I got out of bed in the morning. ?So I decided to buy a new mattress and I did not want to spend thousands of dollars. ?I was going to get the same type I had before but had a conversation with a friend and we discussed the issue with all the chemicals they use to make memory foam.So I started checking out laytex memory foam mattresses that is where I found this mattress on Amazon and I could not believe the price. ?I read several reviews where people said how great the mattress was so I decided to take a chance, after all you can't beat the price.I received my bed and unpacked it that was a little bit of a challenge for me for the fact I am a small person (LOL)I couldn't believe it when I opened the mattress that there was no chemical smell. ?I have been sleeping on this mattress for a few months and I am able to sleep better plus when I get out of bed I can actually walk. ?I have to pain when I sleep and I stay cool at night. If you are looking for an inexpensive answer to a memory foam mattress this is the answer. ?I love the fact that it has coils instead of a box spring. ?Best investment in a bed I have ever made and it comes with a 20 year warranty.Buy this bed you will not be disappointed it is GREAT!!!!!
This was the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever used. ?The pressure points on my body from the non support of this mattress caused pain which mimicked sciatica. ?Was off from work for 5 days on the second day, stayed on sofa and all symptoms were relieved. ?Wasted, time, money and health.
Most reviews I see for mattresses are immediate impressions. Worthless. This mattress is exactly what I hoped it would be. After more than a year, it has not lost it's shape and holds up well when I sit on the edge to put on my socks. It is VERY firm. The vast majority of people WILL need a topper of significant thickness. I like the soft latex topper that was recommended with it, but wish I went with the 3"instead of the 2". 2"is acceptable for back sleepers, but I also sleep on my side and there's not quite enough give for that. BTW, I'm 6'2"and 190lbs.
To me, this is a hard mattress. ?I am a side sleeper and this is noticeably hard and uncomfortable for me.The mattress seems well made, but who knows? ?It is made in China. ?The materials and mattress have no certifications that I can find. ?There is no certification for the naturalness or purity of the"latex,"?nor for being organic, etc. ?I purchased an Avocado Green topper to see if it would help, and even that wonderful product cannot blunt the hardness of this bed. ?If you want the firmest possible mattress, its comfort level would be fine for you.
This is a great mattress! It is so comfortable and am completely satisfied with this purchase. I had priced so many mattresses and then a woman at work told me about this one. I am so happy she did. You cannot beat the price plus a 20 year warranty. Thank you!
After a lot of researching and deciding on a fiberglass free foam mattress. We bought the 8 inch for a twin size daybed. Inflated to full height as soon as we removed the shrink wrap. Mattress has absolutely zero off gassing smell. Mattress seems to be sturdy enough for TV watching and comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. Very happy with my purchase.
